Much like wine variety, each olive oil variety has unique characters affecting yield, taste, aroma and durability. arbequina is one of the major olive varieties originating in Spain and has been widely planted in other parts of the world because of its high productivity and quality of oil. Whilst currently in limited availability in Australia, arbequina is set to become an important variety in our emerging olive industry.

Our single varietal arbequina extra virgin olive oil displays vibrant green apple and fresh cut grass aromas. On the palate it is soft and buttery with a creamy mouth feel and a sweet, nutty aftertaste with low bitterness. This is an ideal oil for drizzling on seafood or mashed potato, creating a delicious mayonnaise or using as a substitute for butter or other milder oils.
