Much like wine variety, each olive oil variety has unique characters
affecting yield, taste, aroma and durability. hojiblanca is one of the major
olive varieties originating in Spain and has been widely planted in other
parts of the world because of its high productivity and quality of oil.
Whilst currently in limited availability in Australia, hojiblanca is set to
become an important variety in our emerging olive industry.

Our single varietal hojiblanca extra virgin olive oil displays an
interesting combination of tropical fruit flavours in the aroma and on the
pallet. It is soft and buttery with a sweet, creamy mouth feel, and is low
in bitterness and pungency. This is an ideal oil for drizzling on seafood or
mashed potato, creating a delicious mayonnaise or using as a substitute for
butter or other milder oils. It is also great for baking and deserts.
